What this means Federal protection against discriminatory maps and voting rules is weaker than it was. More of the fight now happens in statehouses, county election offices, and local campaigns, which are exactly the places where a small organized group carries real weight.
What you can do about it Check your voter registration , then help someone else check theirs.Pay attention to local and state races. They decide who draws the maps and runs the elections. Join JPC and put your time behind groups doing voter protection.
