About
About the Report
The Power & Justice Report is the news publication of Justice & Power Collective, a membership-based advocacy and funding coalition that shifts power into the hands of communities.
We publish original reporting and analysis on immigration, democracy, economic justice, and the organizing work of JPC and its member organizations. We also run The Wire, a curated list of reporting from independent and movement outlets.
Our standards
- We have a point of view. We are an advocacy publication and we say so. We cover the news as people who believe power belongs to communities.
- We stick to facts. Claims are sourced and linked wherever possible.
- We disclose our stake. When JPC is involved in a campaign we report on, the story says so.
- We correct mistakes. Corrections are made promptly and noted on the story.
- We credit other outlets. Items on The Wire link directly to the original publisher. The short notes beside them are ours.
